Instructions

Spiral Roll spins a cylindrical roll of material continuously in front of a blade, and pressing extends that blade inward to shave off a layer as the roll turns — the longer you hold, the deeper the cut.

Each level shows a target shape the roll needs to be carved down to, and the challenge is releasing the blade at the right moment so your cuts match that outline rather than overshooting into material you needed to keep.

Cutting too deep in one spot usually ruins the shape for that section, so short, controlled presses tend to give more control than long holds, especially near the fine details of a target shape.

Controls

Mouse click or tap (hold) — extend the blade into the spinning roll
Release — retract the blade

Tips to Master Spiral Roll

Use short taps near delicate parts of the target shape — a long hold is easier to control on wide, simple sections but risks overcutting fine details.

Watch the roll's rotation, not just the blade

Since material only gets removed where the blade meets the spinning surface, timing your press to the rotation matters as much as how long you hold it.

Undercut slightly rather than overcutting

A shape that's slightly thicker than the target is usually easier to fix with another pass than one that's already been cut too thin.
