Instructions

Nitrome Must Die is a side-scrolling run-and-gun where you fight through levels themed after other Nitrome games, shooting enemies and platforming past hazards on the way to each stage’s boss.

Weapon pickups and character choice change your approach meaningfully, so a stage that’s tough with one loadout can open up considerably with a different weapon or character equipped.

Controls

Arrow keys — move and jump
Z / X (or similar) — shoot / jump

Tips to Master Nitrome Must Die

Try a different weapon if a section feels unfairly difficult — several stages are noticeably easier with specific guns that outrange or out-damage the one you started with.
