Instructions

Steer the ball using the arrow keys or tilt controls depending on the version, moving it in the direction pressed or tilted through the maze's corridors and open areas toward the exit portal.

Moving platforms, teleporters, and traps are placed throughout each maze, so a route that looks direct on paper may require waiting for a moving platform to align or navigating around a trap rather than rolling straight toward the portal.

Because dead ends and pitfalls are built into the maze design specifically to mislead a direct route, exploring cautiously rather than committing fully to the first visible path reduces the chances of rolling into a trap or falling off the maze entirely.

Tips to Master Gyroball

Since moving platforms shift position over time and teleporters activate on contact, rolling toward one without accounting for its current position or cycle can miss it entirely — waiting to align with a moving platform before committing to roll onto it is more reliable than rushing toward where it was a moment earlier.

Small, controlled movements beat fast rolling in tight sections

Because steering is continuous rather than snapping between fixed positions, fast rolling through a tight corridor or near a pitfall risks overshooting a turn that a slower, more controlled roll would clear safely — reducing speed specifically in cramped or hazard-dense sections of a maze avoids most avoidable falls.
