Instructions

Electric Box gives you a compact grid and a handful of electrical parts — batteries, wires, switches, fans, motors, and similar components — and asks you to arrange them so that power flows from the source to every light bulb or target device in the level.

Components interact with each other in specific ways: a motor might need to spin a fan to move something else, or a switch might need to be triggered by a moving part rather than flipped directly, so most levels are solved by working out the intended chain reaction rather than just wiring things directly together.

Because the grid space and part selection are both limited, a solution usually involves figuring out the one correct layout the puzzle was designed around rather than any layout that technically completes a circuit.

Controls

Mouse — drag components onto the grid
Mouse click — rotate or activate a placed component
Play button — run the circuit and watch it play out

Tips to Master Electric Box

Trace the intended path backward from the target. Working out what needs to trigger the final light bulb, and what needs to trigger that in turn, is usually faster than placing parts and hoping they connect.

Watch for parts that need motion, not just placement

Some components only function properly when something physically bumps or spins them, so a part sitting correctly on the grid isn't the same as a part that's actually being activated.

Re-run failed attempts and watch closely

When a solution almost works, running it and watching exactly where the power flow stops usually points straight at the one component that needs to move or rotate.
