Instructions

Donkey Kong Country 3 swaps in Dixie Kong (with her helicopter-spin hover) and young Kiddy Kong as the playable duo, exploring a larger overworld map full of side paths, bonus rooms, and hidden banana-collecting puzzles than the previous two games.

Barrel cannons, animal buddies, and Kiddy’s ability to survive certain hits by being thrown all add new options for reaching secrets, so full completion leans heavily on backtracking with new abilities.

Controls

D-pad — move
B — jump
Y — roll / throw partner
X — Dixie’s hover spin

Tips to Master Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble!

Keep Kiddy Kong in reserve rather than throwing him away early — his extra weight and toughness make him better for certain barrel and bonus-room puzzles that Dixie alone can’t clear.
