Instructions

Achievement Unlocked drops you into one compact room as a simple square-headed character, and the entire point of the game is the pop-up notification in the corner: every achievement you unlock is a joke about how meaningless game achievements can be, rewarding things like standing still, touching a specific block, or dying in a specific way.

There's no traditional goal or win screen. You're free to wander, jump on platforms, walk into the spikes on purpose, or just wait — almost every action in the room triggers something, and the fun is in intentionally trying to break the game to see what fires next.

Controls

Left / Right arrows — move
Up arrow or Space — jump
Down arrow — duck / interact with some objects

Tips to Master Achievement Unlocked

Try the obviously bad ideas first. Walking into spikes, jumping into water, or falling from the highest point are all deliberately rigged to reward you with an achievement rather than punish you.

Read the pop-ups

Each achievement name is the joke, so slow down and actually read what you just unlocked — a lot of the game's humor is in noticing the pattern between what you did and what the achievement is called.

There is a real completion goal

Underneath the parody, there is a finite list of achievements to collect, so if you want to “finish” the game, methodically try every interaction the small room offers: every platform edge, every object, and every way you can think of to fail.
