Instructions

Move with WASD, aim and fire with the mouse, jump with Space, and crouch with Shift; weapon and build-piece slots are swapped with the 1 through 5 keys, matching the standard build-and-shoot layout from games this genre is modeled on.

Q places a wall, E places a ramp, C places a floor, and V places a roof — each consumes building material, and F lets you edit an already-placed structure (for example, turning a wall into a window) instead of tearing it down and rebuilding.

G throws a grenade; since building material and grenades are both limited resources, spending material on a defensive fort during a firefight leaves less available to push aggressively afterward, so the choice between turtling and pushing has a real material cost either way.

Tips to Master 1v1.lol

Every wall, ramp, floor, and roof placed draws from the same limited material pool, so a player who builds defensively through an entire fight may run low on material for the next engagement. Editing an existing structure with F to add a window or door is often cheaper than tearing down and replacing it.

High ground from ramps beats raw aim

Stacking ramps to gain elevation gives a clean shooting angle down onto an opponent who has to look upward to return fire, which matters more in close fights than reaction speed alone. Building height early in an engagement, before taking damage, is safer than trying to build under pressure.

Match modes reward different skills

Because the game includes dedicated modes for box fights, build practice, and aim training separately from standard 1v1 and 2v2 matches, practicing building mechanics in build practice mode transfers directly to combat without the risk of losing an actual match while learning.
