Instructions

Worms World Party is a turn-based strategy game where you control a team of worms one at a time, using a single action per turn — usually a weapon shot, a movement move, or a utility item — before control passes to the opposing team.

Terrain is fully destructible, so a well-placed explosive can open new lines of sight, bury an opponent, or dig out an escape route, meaning the battlefield itself changes constantly rather than staying static like most strategy games.

Wind affects projectile weapons in the open, so a shot that would land perfectly in calm conditions can drift wide on a windy turn, making judgment about weapon choice and aim adjustment as important as raw accuracy.

Controls

Arrow keys — move the active worm / D-pad
Z — confirm / fire the selected weapon
X — cancel / open the weapon menu
Enter — Start — pause the game

Tips to Master Worms World Party

Account for wind before firing an explosive at range — a shot that ignores it can miss by a wide margin on a gusty turn.

Use terrain destruction offensively, not just defensively

Blowing away the ground under an opponent or opening a new sightline to them is often more effective than a direct hit alone.

Don't leave a worm exposed at the end of your turn

Since the opposing team gets to act next, positioning your worm somewhere safer before ending a turn avoids handing them an easy follow-up shot.
