Instructions

We Become What We Behold puts you behind a camera photographing a crowd of simple shapes, and the game quietly narrows your viewfinder and nudges what you focus on as it goes, turning a simple sorting task into commentary on media and tribalism.

It runs only a few minutes long and doesn’t ask for reflexes or precision — the entire experience is in what you notice happening to the crowd (and your own choices) as the run progresses.

Controls

Mouse / click — aim the camera and take photos

Tips to Master We Become What We Behold

Play it through once without overthinking any single photo — the game’s point comes from noticing the pattern across the whole short run, not from any one specific shot you take.
