Instructions

Steak and Jake is a side-scrolling platformer built around switching between its two title characters, each suited to different obstacles depending on their size, speed, or jump height.

Levels are designed with sections that specifically favor one character over the other, so reading which one a given obstacle wants is as much a part of the puzzle as clearing the jump itself.

Controls

Arrow keys / WASD — move and jump
Switch key (as prompted) — swap between characters

Tips to Master Steak and Jake

Switch characters before you reach an obstacle rather than after failing it once — most sections telegraph which character they’re built for if you look at the layout before committing to a jump.
