Instructions

Choose Your Weapon puts two stick figures against each other in a straightforward duel: before the fight, you pick which weapon to carry in, and the matchup between your choice and your opponent's plays a real role in how the fight goes.

Fights are quick and reflex-driven — landing the first solid hit with most weapons matters more than a long exchange, so approach distance and timing your attack are the main skills rather than combos.

Controls

Arrow keys or WASD — move
Mouse or attack key — swing / fire your chosen weapon

Tips to Master Choose Your Weapon

Match your weapon to the matchup. A weapon that's strong at range is wasted if you let the fight close to melee distance immediately, so pick your approach around what you're carrying, not just your favorite weapon.

Bait the first swing

Since many duels are decided by whoever lands first, letting an aggressive opponent whiff their first attack often opens a clean punish.

Reset your spacing after a trade

If an exchange doesn't end the fight, backing off to reset distance is usually safer than immediately pressing again into an opponent who may still be ready to counter.
